Pediatrics Physician
Our healthcare organization is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to provide exceptional primary care services to underserved communities. As a Pediatrician, you will be responsible for managing patient care in collaboration with other clinical staff and members of the care team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive and high-quality primary care services to patients in the office, hospital, or other locations within the community as assigned
- Serve as a consultant to clinical management regarding clinical goals and services
- Manage patient care in collaboration with other clinical staff and members of the care team
- Leverage industry knowledge and best practices to promote the mission and vision of the Medical Department and the organization
- Support culture development and management efforts
Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm included extended hour shift of Noon - 8:00pm once per week with a Saturday (every 4 weeks) Rotation 8:00am - 1:00pm

Requirements:
Education and Experience
- M.D. Degree, or D.O. degree from accredited school of allopathic or osteopathic medicine
- Board-certified or Board-eligible in Family Practice
- Current and valid Illinois license as a physician and surgeon
- Current and valid DEA Controlled Substance Registration Certificate
- Eligible for, or maintenance of, hospital privileges at affiliated hospitals
- Bilingual ability may or may not be required based on individual department needs.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
- Ability to maintain effective and professional relationships with patients and other members of the care team.
- Comfort working in a medical setting as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Ability to observe, assess, and record symptoms, reactions, and progress
- Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for the delivery of medical care
- Knowledge of relevant drugs and non-pharmaceutical patient care aids and ability to prescribe dosages and instruct patients in correct usage
- Knowledge of related accreditation and certification requirements
- Knowledge of current principles, methods and procedures for the delivery of medical evaluation, diagnosis and treatment in area of expertise
- Experience in working with a diverse population base preferred.
- Ability to appropriately handle confrontation and conflict.
- Ability to work independently and to seek consultation as necessary.
- Ability to follow organization and departmental processes and procedures.
- Ability to work in a high stress/fast paced/high work volume environment.
