Pharmacy Technician (Onsite – West Sacramento, CA)
Pay Rate: $26.00/hour
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM (initial schedule)
- Must be flexible for shift change after 4 weeks to Sunday–Thursday

- Sunday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Weekdays: 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM
- Mandatory overtime required

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to support high-volume prescription fulfillment operations. This role involves preparing, packaging, and distributing medications in a fast-paced, production-driven environment under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. The ideal candidate thrives in repetitive workflows while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately fill prescription vials with tablets and capsules by reading system instructions and selecting correct medications, dosages, and quantities
- Replenish automated dispensing systems, including scanning medications, entering lot/expiration data, and ensuring product quality
- Perform inventory cycle counts and assist in resolving discrepancies
- Prepare specialty and cold-chain prescriptions following handling requirements
- Assist with packing and shipping prescriptions while ensuring patient privacy and regulatory compliance (HIPAA)
- Identify issues, apply problem-solving skills, and escalate concerns when necessary
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active California Pharmacy Technician license
- Minimum 1 year of pharmacy or relevant experience (excluding externships/training)
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment preferred
