Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist for a direct hire opportunity in Union City, CA within the transport and materials storage industry. This role is ideal for a well-rounded human resources professional who enjoys supporting employees and managers across the full HR lifecycle, including employee relations, onboarding, performance management, benefits administration, compliance, and recruiting.
The HR Generalist will play a key role in helping maintain a positive, productive, and compliant workplace. Key Responsibilities
- Manage employee onboarding, orientation, and ongoing employee support to help create a positive employee experience.
- Address employee concerns, support conflict resolution, and promote strong employee relations across the organization.
- Coordinate performance appraisal processes, assist managers with performance improvement plans, and support employee development initiatives.
- Administer HR policies, maintain employee records, and ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations.
- Manage benefits administration, respond to employee benefits questions, and support compensation-related activities such as salary surveys and data analysis.
- Support recruiting efforts, including job postings, interviewing, hiring coordination, and payroll backup as needed.
Compensation and Benefits
- Direct hire opportunity.
- Salary range: $80,000 to $85,000 per year.
- Location: Union City, CA.
