Job Description Airframe & Powerplant Training Instructor
Picture your day: the lab doors open, tool chests are organized, and a fresh cohort gathers around a training fuselage. You brief safety protocols, demonstrate a troubleshooting sequence on an aircraft system, then coach students as they diagnose and repair components. By afternoon, you refine curriculum modules with the education team and mentor learners through their project milestones. You wrap the day knowing you’ve built real-world skills that translate directly to the hangar floor—without giving up your weekends.

- Stable work schedule with weekends OFF
- Paid training — never taught before? We’ll train you to teach!
- Tuition waiver after 6 months for you and your immediate family at UTI and Concorde campuses

- Retirement matching: 50% match on the first 6% of your contributions after 90 days
- 4 weeks paid parental leave for both birthing and non-birthing parents
- Health, vision, and dental insurance for you and your dependents
- Pet insurance through ASPCA
- Health plan enrollment eligibility begins the first of the month following completion of one full month of employment
What You’ll Do
- Inspire and educate: create an inclusive, engaging classroom and lab that sparks enthusiasm for aviation maintenance.
- Lead hands-on training: model real maintenance practices so students can perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on aircraft systems.
- Develop curriculum: collaborate with the education team to enhance courses and introduce content aligned with current industry standards.

- Champion safety: reinforce procedures and best practices to maintain a secure learning environment.
