Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,000.30
Schedule: Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM | 37.5 Hours/Week
Position Overview
Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based pediatric setting in Beach Park, IL.
This role focuses on supporting elementary school students (K–5) with communication, speech, and language development.
Facility Information
- Setting: Public School District
- School Year: 2025–2026 Academic Year
- Student Population: Elementary (K–5th Grade)
- Caseload: 25–30 students
- Work Hours: 37.5 hours/week
Clinical ResponsibilitiesStudent Assessment
- Evaluate students for:
- Speech and language delays
- Articulation disorders
- Communication challenges
- Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Therapy & Intervention
- Provide speech therapy for:
- Language development
- Articulation
- Social communication skills
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions
Caseload Management
- Manage 25–30 students
- Track progress and adjust therapy plans
- Support academic and functional communication goals
Documentation
- Maintain:
- IEP documentation
- Progress reports
- Therapy notes
- Ensure compliance with school and state guidelines
Collaboration
- Work with:
- Teachers
- School staff
- Parents/guardians
- Participate in IEP meetings
Scheduling & Work Details
- Monday – Friday schedule
- 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Early finish!)
- No weekends
- School holidays off
Required Qualifications
Active Illinois SLP License
PEL (Professional Educator License)
ASHA CCC Certification (REQUIRED)
Preferred Qualifications
School-based SLP experience
Pediatric therapy experience
IEP experience
Important Notes
Must have PEL + CCC (strict requirement)
Pediatric/school experience strongly preferred
