Bookkeeper | Walker, MI
Salary Range: $48,000 - $68,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely transaction recording.
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations, maintaining precise cash management.
- Maintain the general ledger, accurately classifying all financial transactions.
- Assist with tracking inventory costs, raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, including profit and loss and balance sheets.
- Process payroll, including timecard verification and employee expense reimbursements.
- Support year-end audit preparations and tax filings by providing comprehensive financial data.
Recommended Qualifications
- Experience with cost accounting principles and inventory valuation.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems common in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Oracle).
- Solid understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger functions.
- Proven experience with bank and account reconciliations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) relevant to manufacturing.
- Familiarity with cost accounting principles, including job costing and inventory valuation.
- Understanding of inventory management and reconciliation processes.
- Ability to analyze financial data related to production and operational efficiency.
