Job DescriptionSalary:

Missouri Girls Town is growing, and we are looking.

The Program Director reports to the Associate Executive Director.

Responsibilities

The Program Director is responsible for supporting the direct care staff, developing treatment, and the policies and procedures established by Missouri Girls Town.

1.Review all critical incident reports and the use of the locked seclusion area. Report all incidents requiring outside assistance to the Associate Executive Director and Executive Director immediately.

2.Carry a caseload of no more than eight clients (depending on the type of client)

a.Meet with clients to provide individual counseling services as directed

b.Provide necessary case management for individual clients and act as the liaison between the referral source, family, school, outside services, etc.

c.Complete required documentation (paperwork)

1.Complete monthly and quarterly treatment plans based on care level

2.Complete monthly summary reports on individual clients

3.Complete annual assessments and other assessments as needed

4.Complete court reports

5.Complete necessary Medicaid billing for all therapeutic services provided

3.Provide group therapy sessions weekly

4.Meetings:

a.Attend assigned administrative/committee meetings

b.Participate in PQI committee meetings and serve on PQI Steering Committee

c.Attend additional meetings as needed (FST, treatment reviews, court hearings, vocational rehab, community support services, etc.)

5.Complete a minimum of 40 hours of continuing education to meet state residential licensing requirements

Qualifications



1.Minimum age of 25 years

2.Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor with a minimum of 2 years experience in the management or supervision of childcare personnel and programs

3.No criminal record or history of abuse

4.Class E Driver's License

5.Ability to lift ten pounds

6.Handle with Care Verbally Certified

7.CPR and First Aid Certifications (Must be obtained before the end of probationary period)

8.Ability to demonstrate caring, tolerance, and patience when dealing with troubled youth

9.Ability to demonstrate understanding of philosophy, policies, procedures, strategies, and programs of Missouri Girls Town

10.Ability to work and communicate with both staff and clients

11. Exhibit leadership skills, strong communication, and decisiveness

12.Ability to maintain the confidentiality of all clients

13.Ability to be on time and dependable

14. Ability to work independently with little supervision

Environmental/Working Conditions

Ability to work with the clients both inside and out at all times of the year. Hours outside regular business hours are required. This is an exempt position according to the FLSA. Salary is based on working a regular 12-month schedule.
