Job Summary
The Warehouse Worker will support feed plant distribution operations by safely loading, unloading, moving, and staging materials using a forklift and other industrial equipment. This role involves order pulling, inventory movement, packaging, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. Attention to safety, accuracy, and teamwork is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts and warehouse equipment
- Pull orders and move product within warehouse and production areas
- Count, weigh, and record materials and container data accurately
- Package goods and assist with loading outbound trucks
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness (sweeping floors, cleaning spills, handling broken bags/product)
- Follow all safety, environmental, and operational procedures
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
Required Qualifications
- Forklift certification and hands-on forklift experience
- Ability to lift 50+ lb bags during order pulling
- High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
- Excellent punctuality and attendance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and flexibility in a fast-paced industrial environment
