Work Schedule: (24 to 26 hours) Mon–Wed: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM; Thurs: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM | 100% onsite

Job Description
This HR Coordinator role provides hands-on experience across multiple HR functions, supporting the HR Generalist and wider HR team. You’ll assist with onboarding, HRIS and payroll data entry, employee engagement initiatives, and succession planning efforts. This position offers high visibility and opportunities for growth toward an HR Generalist role.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with HR Generalist and corporate team to manage new hire onboarding paperwork
- Perform HRIS (UKG) and payroll data entry for new hires, pay changes, and terminations
- Coordinate campus orientation, recognition events, holiday parties, and other HR initiatives
- Support pre-employment process, including personnel file management and checklist verification
- Maintain active/inactive employee files and I-9 documentation according to federal and state law
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives, such as Mental Health Awareness Month, Employee Appreciation Month, annual service luncheons, and holiday events
Qualifications
- 2+ years administrative experience within HR preferred
- Some college required; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- Experience with UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) preferred
- Healthcare experience a plus
- Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and work independently
- Comfortable interacting with employees both in-person and on the phone
