RN Nurse Compliance Manager Position Summary


We are seeking a RN Nurse Compliance Manager to join our team at BrightStar Care of Santa Barbara County and West Ventura County. In this pivotal role, you will oversee compliance with healthcare regulations, conduct patient assessments and reassessments, and ensure our operations meet the highest standards of care. Your clinical expertise and attention to detail will be essential in maintaining our commitment to excellence in care delivery and client satisfaction. This is a full-time position with responsibilities both in-office in Santa Barbara and in the field seeing patients.


RN Nurse Compliance Manager Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement compliance programs to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations
  • Monitor and evaluate compliance with HIPAA, FDA regulations, JCAHO standards, and Medicare guidelines
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement
  • Provide training and education to staff on compliance policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with leadership to address compliance issues and implement corrective actions
  • Prepare reports for management on compliance status and identified risks
  • Conduct patient care assessments and reassessments for BrightStar Care services


RN Nurse Compliance Manager Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • Proven experience in healthcare compliance management
  • Strong knowledge of HIPAA, JCAHO, FDA regulations, and ICD-9/ICD-10 coding
  • Excellent communication and training skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
