We are seeking a friendly, dependable and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our growing CPA firm.
About the Role
The Office Administrator plays a key role in supporting our accounting and administrative teams. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a professional environment, enjoys multitasking, and takes pride in delivering excellent client service.
Responsibilities
- Cover reception duties when required
- Schedule appointments and coordinate calendars
- Maintain client records and organize documents
- Manage tax season workflow and assist with administrative projects
- Process mail, correspondence, and electronic communications
- Support partners and staff with various office tasks
- Manage office supplies and vendor relationships
- Ensure the office operates efficiently and professionally
- Assist with onboarding and training interns and seasonal staff
- Provide guidance on office procedures, software applications and administrative workflows
Qualifications
- Previous administrative or office management experience
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent computer skills, and ability to learn and use new software
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Experience in a CPA, legal, or professional services firm is a plus
- Familiarity with tax and/or bookkeeping software is a plus
