Automation Water Spider (Short Term Assignment 4-8 weeks)

Job DescriptionAutomation Water Spider - $17/hr - KentwoodWould you like to work for a leading company in innovative electromagnetic products for passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and industrial applications? This is the job for you!RESPONSIBILITIES/OBJECTIVES:

• Load each workcell with components in order to keep automated workcell running at all times
• Scan labels for part traceability for all components.
• Follow all plant rules and procedures.
• Understand all current quality alerts and issues at the line.
• Ensure cleaning and 5S are maintained throughout the shift.
• Repack bulk components and finished goods as needed.
• Basic error corrections with machine faults.
• Follow standard work and inspection instructions at each operation.
• Inform the Lead Technician if there is a safety, quality, production or maintenance issue.
• Proper communication with other shifts.
• Support daily and weekend overtime as needed.
• Other duties as assigned. Job lifting requirements of 35 lbs. Must be able to sit, stand, bend, twist, turn, and squat if necessary.

Preferred Skills: Education Level: High School Diploma or Equivalent Three years experience in manufacturing environment Material handling experience is preferred Ability to follow instructions Self motivated/directed Basic troubleshooting skills related to machine faults Read, write and speak English (bilingual is preferred) Basic math skills Let’s go to work!
