Job Overview

**This is a temporary assignment expected to last 3-6 months.**

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting laboratory operations, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and contributing to innovative projects.y and optical sciences.

12-hour shifts

Duties:

Responsible for keeping work area clean and organized.
Conduct laboratory tests and procedures with accuracy and consistency.
Manage laboratory workflows, including sample preparation, data collection, and documentation.
Maintain strict compliance with quality assurance protocols.
Support laboratory management by organizing inventory, calibrating instruments, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing laboratory efficiency and product quality.
Must be able to bend, stoop, twist, and stand for the duration of the shift.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds for work.
Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Experience

Proven experience working within a laboratory environment.
Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures, techniques, and quality assurance practices.
Demonstrated ability to manage laboratory workflows efficiently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and safety
