The Transfer Receiving Unit (TRU) operates as a medical-surgical telemetry service. We receive patients in a coordinated manner, similar to a code team response, and then assign them to nursing teams. Our goal is to quickly bring providers to the bedside, complete necessary assessments, and triage patients to their final inpatient accommodations. We assist in balancing patient loads across our system, accept transfers from various locations in the Pacific Northwest, and support other departments as needed to enhance patient throughput.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver compassionate care in accordance with our health standards.
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
- Advocate for patients by providing education and emotional support.
- Utilize electronic health record systems for effective patient care.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited nursing program.
- BSN preferred (or currently pursuing).
- At least one year of nursing experience or completion of a residency program.
- Preferred experience in acute care settings.
- Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, and electronic health record skills.
Licensure:
- Must hold a current RN license and BLS certification; ACLS certification required within three months of hire.

Compensation:
Pay range: USD $54.37 - USD $81.21 per hour.
