Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An exciting opportunity awaits a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) eager to make a difference in the lives of K-12 students. This onsite role stretches through the full 2026-2027 school year, providing you the chance to build strong student relationships and collaborate closely with a supportive educational team. Located near vibrant Tacoma, WA, this contract position offers 37.5 hours per week and the chance to contribute to student growth in a dynamic school environment.

Qualifications & Required Experience:

  • Current Washington State SLP licensure, or ability and willingness to obtain before start date
  • SLP-CCC credentials
  • WA Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certificate or ability to obtain it
  • Fingerprinting through OSPI or willingness to complete the process
  • Experience working in a K-12 setting preferred; new graduates with strong clinical skills encouraged to apply
  • Ability to work exclusively onsite for the contract duration
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy services to a diverse range of students, supporting communication and language development
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine student needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with the IEP team
  • Maintain accurate records and regularly communicate progress to teachers, families, and administrators
  • Collaborate with classroom staff, other therapists, and school personnel to promote student success
  • Engage in school community activities and professional development as required
