This position focuses on delivering remote intensive care nursing through TeleICU services to critically ill patients in various hospitals. The RN will work closely with bedside teams using audio and video technology to assess patients, manage care plans, and communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.

As a TeleICU nurse, you will provide specialized care to a wide range of critically ill patients across multiple facilities. Your responsibilities will include gathering data and delivering tele-nursing care, assessing patient conditions, and collaborating with other TeleICU staff and bedside teams via audio and video connections throughout the patients' ICU stays. You will engage in discussions regarding patient care with physicians and other healthcare team members, maintaining professional accountability for the care provided to your assigned patients while upholding patient rights and confidentiality. Position Overview:
Essential Qualifications:
- Education: Must possess a current RN Temporary Permit or RN license in the state of practice.
- Licensure: State licensure in the state of practice is required, along with multi-state licensure within six months of hire.
- Experience: A minimum of two years of recent ICU nursing experience is necessary.
- Certifications: CPR and ACLS certifications are required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- Experience: Experience as a charge nurse is advantageous.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
- Capability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Understanding of pathophysiology and common issues and solutions related to adult ICU patients.
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands outlined here represent the minimum requirements necessary for an employee to perform all essential job functions:
- Minimal: Push/pull force of less than 10 lbs; grip and pinch grip.
- Frequent: Hand coordination.
- Continuous: Data entry tasks.
