ECOMMERCE PRODUCT MANAGER & CREATIVE LEAD

Overview

We’re seeking a versatile, creative, and strategic professional who can merge the analytical mindset of a product manager with the visual storytelling skills of a graphic designer. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, balancing product strategy, creative design, and ecommerce execution to drive growth and elevate brand presence.

Key Responsibilities

Product Management

  • Lead the full product lifecycle — from concept to launch — ensuring alignment with company goals and customer needs.
  • Conduct market research and trend analysis to inform the product roadmap.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, purchasing, and operations to define requirements, prioritize features, and execute initiatives.
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics to continuously improve product success.
  • Manage product catalogs and coordinate annual catalog production.
  • Occasional travel to China for factory visits and product development.

Ecommerce Optimization

  • Develop and execute strategies to grow online traffic, conversion rates, and overall sales.
  • Utilize SEO, SEM, email marketing, and other digital tactics to maximize reach and retention.
  • Manage and optimize all ecommerce channels, including Shopify, Amazon, Wayfair, Faire, Etsy, and Walmart.com.
  • Create and manage product listings
  • Stay current on ecommerce best practices, trends, and emerging technologies to identify new growth opportunities.

Graphic Design

  • Design visually compelling assets for web, social, email, advertising, and packaging.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all materials by adhering to established design standards.
  • Use feedback and analytics to iterate and improve creative performance.
  • Create and publish the annual product catalog using Adobe InDesign.

Marketing & Content

  • Write engaging product descriptions, marketing copy, and blog content that inform and inspire customers.
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns across multiple channels (SEO, SEM, email, and social).
  • Create and manage A+ content to enhance brand storytelling across marketplaces.

Photography

  • Capture and edit high-quality product and lifestyle images for ecommerce, print, and social platforms.
  • Ensure consistent visual style and branding across all photo assets.
  • Retouch and optimize images for clarity, impact, and performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Design, Business, or related field.
  • Proven experience in product management and ecommerce, ideally within the wholesale or consumer goods industry.
  • Strong design portfolio showcasing expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Knowledge of UX/UI principles and experience with web design tools (Adobe XD, Figma, or Sketch).
  • Proficiency with ecommerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce) and digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, Mailchimp, Meta Ads, etc.).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset with strong creative intuition.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with a passion for delivering standout customer experiences.
  • MANDARIN speaking a plus but not a must.
  • STRONG ability to use latest available AI tools to accelerate all job tasks.
