Job Title: Emergency Room Technician

Shift: 7a-315p/ 3p-11:15p. /11 PM-7:15 AM,
Contract: 8 weeks (With possible extension)
Pay rate: $28
Job Summary
Pride Health is seeking skilled Emergency Room Technicians for a 59-day contract assignment. This role supports the Emergency Department by providing basic patient care, clinical assistance, and medical monitoring under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with basic patient care and daily living activities.
- Perform phlebotomy and obtain blood samples as required.
- Take and record patient vital signs accurately.
- Perform EKGs and monitor telemetry; recognize and report arrhythmias.
- Conduct glucose testing via finger stick.
- Support nursing staff with emergency care tasks and patient transport.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in compliance with hospital standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience as an Emergency Department Technician (Required)
- Phlebotomy experience (Required)
- Experience as EKG Technician, Nursing Attendant, or equivalent (Required)
- EKG/Arrhythmia Certificate (Preferred)
- Medical Technician Certificate (Preferred)
- Nursing Attendant Certification (Preferred)
- Must be able to work days 7:00 AM – 3:15 PM
