Medical Receptionist – IN PERSON
About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented, and responsible Medical Receptionist to join our team. The role also includes Receptionist responsibilities (i.e. greeting patients, check-in), and light office cleaning.
This position involves reporting clinical results, including labs and imaging, to patients in a timely and empathetic manner. Communication will be primarily through text/portal messaging, with some phone calls as needed.
The candidate will interact with the Providers in the office in person. They will be interacting with patients during check-in (in person) as well as online and on the phone.
The ideal candidate will have patience and kindness when interacting with patients and our Providers.
Responsibilities
- Report laboratory results to patients within 24 hours of receipt.
- Report imaging results to patients the same day they are received.
- Communicate results primarily by text, with occasional phone calls for clarification or sensitive results.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth workflow and patient satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable using electronic communication systems (texting platforms, EHR).
- Ability to meet strict reporting timelines.
- Friendly, kind, and patient demeanor with a commitment to excellent patient care.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
