Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time opportunity is available for a School Psychologist in the northern suburbs of Denver, CO, specifically within a smaller district serving approximately 7,000 students across 16 sites. This role is based at Meadow Community School, supporting Pre-K through 8th grade students, including mild to moderate needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual counseling services and conduct psychological assessments and evaluations.
- Serve as a case manager, coordinating and collaborating with IEP teams to address student needs.
- Manage IEP minutes on a monthly basis and ensure compliance with educational requirements.
- Support approximately 20 mild to moderate students, including some Pre-K students.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must hold or be in the process of obtaining Colorado Department of Education (CDE) credentials; candidates should clearly communicate their status in the credentialing process.
- Experience or willingness to manage cases as the primary case manager.
- Open to new graduates as well as experienced professionals.
- Familiarity with school-based psychological or social work services is preferred.
- Candidates should be aware that VOCO or hybrid positions are not accepted by the district.
Interview Process:
- Initial screening interview conducted via Teams with the director of integrated services (15-30 minutes).
- Second-round panel interview typically held in person but flexible accommodations for remote interviews are available (30-45 minutes).
