Job Title: Cardiac Sonographer - 10 Hour Days

- Rotating on-call responsibilities, including weekends, holidays, and weeknights
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiac Sonographer for an opportunity in an acute care setting. The successful candidate will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic cardiac ultrasound services, contributing to patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform echocardiograms and other cardiac imaging procedures as per clinical protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.
- Accurately document and report findings in the Allscripts - Sunrise charting system.
- Maintain equipment and follow safety standards to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in on-call rotations, providing after-hours care when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) (AHA).
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) via CCI, and Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer in Adult Echocardiography (RDCS-AE) via ARDMS.
- Must hold a valid and unexpired driver's license.
- Previous experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
Contract Details:
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week.
- Position offered for a 13-week contract with a possibility of extension.
