Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to support K-12 students in Thomasville, NC, focusing primarily on middle and high school caseloads. This on-site contract role spans the current school year, offering 2530 hours per week from Monday through Friday, with a caseload of approximately 4045 students. The ideal candidate will be skilled in speech-language pathology practice within school settings and familiar with specific documentation and referral systems.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Active North Carolina SLP License (verification required)
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (DPI) G License
- Experience with ECATS system (required)
- Preferred Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Proficiency with ECATS and Infinite Campus software systems
- Experience supporting middle and high school students
- No Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) support available for this role
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluations, treatment, and progress monitoring for assigned students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to address student needs
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in ECATS and Infinite Campus
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to student success plans
