Responsibilities
- Answer and forward calls using a multi-line phone system; take and relay messages accurately.
- Greet clients, prepare meeting spaces, and provide hospitality (coffee, water, etc.).
- Maintain reception area in a neat and professional manner.
- Manage and update tasks in Microsoft Outlook and Practice Panther.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail: pick up, open, date-stamp, and distribute appropriately.
- Assist attorneys with general office tasks and occasional errands.
- Arrange for office equipment repairs as needed.
- Set up new client files and maintain accurate records.
- Provide word processing and administrative support for three attorneys.
Qualifications and Skills
- Office Experience: Prior professional office experience required.
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced Microsoft Word
- Intermediate Excel
- Basic QuickBooks
- Communication: Excellent grammar, punctuation, and proofreading skills.
- Professionalism: Strong telephone etiquette, polished appearance, and ability to multitask.
Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:00AM - 5:00PM)
Compensation: $21.00 - $22.00 Hourly
