LaborMax Staffing is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Staffing Specialist to join our Carrollton, TX branch team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about helping connect qualified candidates with strong employers.
As a Staffing Specialist, you will support daily branch operations by recruiting, screening, onboarding, and placing candidates in a variety of light industrial, skilled trades, general labor, and customer-focused roles. This role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while providing excellent service to both clients and candidates.
Responsibilities include:
Recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding candidates for open job orders
Matching candidates to appropriate client job requirements
Conducting phone screens, in-person interviews, and orientation sessions
Maintaining accurate candidate and client records in the system
Filling client orders quickly while maintaining quality standards
Supporting walk-ins and daily applicant flow
Communicating regularly with clients regarding staffing needs, candidate updates, and performance
Assisting with onboarding, compliance, placement follow-ups, and general branch operations
Helping meet branch production goals through consistent recruiting and placement activity
Qualified candidates should have:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Comfortable multitasking and managing a high volume of applicants
Basic computer and data entry skills
Strong attention to detail and follow-through
A positive attitude and team-focused mindset
High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior staffing, recruiting, customer service, or sales experience preferred, but not required
