Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounting operations, ensuring compliance with GAAP, and overseeing the month-end close process to provide accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Oversee fixed asset accounting and ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
- Prepare and post journal entries and ensure proper documentation for accruals and adjustments.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing financial insights to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve accounting processes and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience as an accountant, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Experience with month-end close processes and financial statement preparation.
- Familiarity with accounting software and tools, with proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
