Be the point person who keeps our weld shop safe, efficient, and on spec. You’ll coordinate people, process, and materials to deliver quality work on time.
What You’ll Do
- Direct day-to-day activities for the welding crew and balance workloads.
- Enforce safety policies and industry standards across all welding operations.
- Check weld quality and drive corrective measures when issues arise.
- Coach and mentor welders to elevate skill, speed, and precision.
- Partner with project managers to align schedules and technical requirements.
- Track and maintain inventory of consumables and equipment so projects aren’t delayed.
- Run routine inspections and audits of processes and equipment.
- Compile operation reports and share insights and recommendations with leadership.
What You Bring
- Background as a Welding Supervisor or equivalent in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong command of welding processes, materials, and shop equipment.
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Sharp problem-solving skills and a detail-first mindset.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Welding certifications (AWS, ASME) preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in welding technology or related field is a plus.
