Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Work from Home Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher
VocoVision is working with a school district in Washington D.C. in need of a DHHT. VocoVision enables therapists to work from home by bringing advanced video conferencing and effective educational services together to create a unique opportunity for students, therapists, and school systems. To ensure a smooth transition, VocoVision provides software and technical support every step of the way.
Qualifications:
- Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher Certification for Washington D.C.
- At least 2 years of experience
- IEP experience
- Computer competent
Job Details:
- Full-Time: 37.5 hours/week
- 8-10 students
- 25/26 School Year
- Testing, evaluating, and assessing students
- Building IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other faculty members
