Job DescriptionWe’re seeking a friendly, fast-paced Bartender to deliver exceptional guest service in our hotel bar/lounge environment. This role is responsible for crafting quality cocktails, beer, and wine service; maintaining a clean, welcoming bar; and creating a great guest experience for hotel visitors, locals, and event attendees.
Schedule: HotelMonday - Thursday shifts: 3:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.
Friday - Sunday + busy season shifts: 3:00 p.m. - 12:30 a.m.
Key ResponsibilitiesGreet guests promptly and provide attentive, professional bar servicePrepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages to brand standardsRecommend beverages and upsell featured cocktails, premium spirits, and menu pairingsVerify guest identification and follow all alcohol service laws and hotel policiesAccurately ring in orders, handle cash/credit transactions, and balance the tillMaintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the bar, glassware, and work areasStock, rotate, and inventory bar supplies; communicate replenishment needs to managementSupport banquet/events service as needed (weddings, conferences, group functions)Work collaboratively with servers, kitchen, and front desk to ensure smooth service
QualificationsPrior bartending experience preferred (hotel or high-volume bar experience a plus)Knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer; willingness to learn signature recipesExcellent guest service and communication skillsAbility to multitask and stay composed in a busy environmentMust be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25–35 lbs (cases, ice, etc.)Active Louisiana ATC bar card Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
