Company Overview: Legacy EMS is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering high-quality emergency medical services. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Paramedic to join our team as part of our USAFA contract.
Job Description:
As an EMT at Legacy EMS, you will play a vital role in providing medical care to individuals in need. Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Responding to emergency calls and assessing the medical needs of patients.
- Administering necessary medical treatments and interventions in accordance with established protocols.
- Transporting patients to medical facilities in a safe and efficient manner.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals and emergency response teams.
- Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation of patient care.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Currently certified as an EMT in the state of Colorado OR NREMT
- CPR certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong clinical and decision-making skills in emergency situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to obtain a flight line driver license (483).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- FEMA ICS Courses (ICS 100, ICS 200, ICS 700) Required.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Able to pass a thorough background and health screening
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. This contract works 12, 24, and 48 hour shifts.
