Traveling QCM - Federal

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Traveling Quality Control Manager (QCM) for federal projects. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with all quality standards, oversee quality control processes, and provide guidance on best practices in project management within the federal sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage quality control processes on federal construction projects.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications.
  • Collaborate with project managers and teams to implement quality control plans and procedures.
  • Provide training and support to staff on quality control measures and best practices.
  • Prepare detailed reports on quality control activities and findings for federal stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to federal regulations and guidelines regarding quality control.
  • Facilitate communication between contractors, clients, and government agencies regarding quality control issues.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Quality Control Manager or similar role, preferably in federal construction projects.
  • 5+ years of experience working on Federal Projects valued over $100M.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control standards and procedures, particularly within the DoD and federal environments.
  • Certification in Quality Control Management (CQCM) is required.
  • Experience with USACE, NAVFAC, and federal contracting processes.
  • Excellent project management skills with a focus on quality assurance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with stakeholders.
