Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Journeyman Service Electricians in Oxford, GA for a direct hire opportunity with our client. As a trusted partner in the construction industry, we connect top talent with top companies across the United States.
Job Type: Direct Placement
Pay: $70,720 to $79,040 Per Year BOE
Licenses/Certifications Required: Journeyman Electrician License
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting and repairing various types of equipment/components such as PLC and DCS systems, AC and DC VFD’s, motor controls, lighting and distribution systems
- Conduct sequential tests to determine malfunctions, analyze operations of electrical equipment, or systems
- Utilize electrical test equipment such as, infrared, ultrasonic and data logging devices, as well as voltmeter, ammeter and ohmmeter
- Install and bend various types of conduits (EMT, Rigid, Aluminum)
- Setup and pull wire/cable & Terminate power, control, and instrumentation wire and cable
- Operate, maintain, and work near various power equipment, including, but not limited to, forklifts, man-lifts, excavators, drills, saws, hydraulic tools and automatic machinery
- Display exceptional customer service with clients and team members
- Work from various heights via platforms, scaffolds, ladders, or man-lifts
- Bend and stretch, lift, and move heavy objects many times across a shift
- Must be safety conscious
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience installing and maintaining electrical systems
- Must have knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code and OSHA safety standards
- Experience working directly with clients, exhibiting a high level of customer service and professionalism
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be organized, able to multi-task, work both independently, and be a team player.
- Ability to pass a Federal credentialling background check for work completed at government facilities
Physical Requirements:

- Must be able to lift to 60 pounds independently; lifting from knee to shoulder heights; other lifting required from various levels.
- Must be able to carry and transport up to 60 pounds up to 20 feet
- Requires standing for extended period with frequent stretching, reaching, walking, and stooping, pushing and/or pulling in an environment that may be cold, hot, noisy, and wet and may have fumes or odors.
Pay Transparency: A reasonable estimate of the available hourly pay scale for this position is $70,720 to $79,040 Per Year BOE. The actual compensation offered may vary depending on qualifications and other factors essential to the performance of duties and is determined by the hiring authority.
