We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Millwright to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience working in manufacturing, construction, or other industrial settings, ensuring that equipment operates efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, assemble, and dismantle machinery and heavy equipment according to blueprints, schematics, and engineering specifications.

  • Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, conveyors, pumps, motors, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and make necessary repairs.

  • Align and calibrate machines to ensure proper function.

  • Operate hoists, cranes, and other lifting equipment to position and secure machinery.

  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.

  • Weld and fabricate components when necessary.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.

  • Collaborate with engineers, electricians, and other tradespeople to optimize equipment performance.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Millwright certification or apprenticeship preferred.

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or as a millwright.]

  • Strong mechanical and technical skills.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.

  • Proficiency in welding, fabrication, and machining techniques.

  • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.

  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various environmental conditions.

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work physically demanding shifts.

Certifications (Preferred but Not Required):

  • Red Seal Millwright Certification (if applicable).

  • Forklift, Crane, or Aerial Lift certification.

  • Welding certification.

  • First Aid and Safety certifications.

Work Environment:

  • Industrial/manufacturing.

  • Exposure to noise, dust, grease, and varying temperatures.

  • Standing, lifting, and working in physically demanding conditions.
