We are looking for a Patient Service Representative to join the team!
The Patient Service Representative will be responsible for:

Serving as the primary point of contact for patients in person and by phone

Greeting patients, assisting with concerns, and escalating issues when appropriate

Checking patients in and out, collecting co-pays, providing receipts, and reconciling payments

Verifying patient demographics and insurance information in CS-Link/Epic
-
Scheduling appointments and completing patient registration
-
Processing and tracking referrals and authorizations for various insurance types
-
Handling patient and provider correspondence
-
Explaining policies, procedures, or services to patients

Sanitizing workspaces in accordance with department guidelines
The Qualifications for a Patient Service Representative:
-
Experience with medical insurance, referral processes, and benefit plans
-
1 year of recent experience in an outpatient clinic or medical office setting
-
Ability to understand and follow detailed oral and written instructions
-
2+ years of recent experience as a Patient Service Representative preferred
-
Experience using CS-Link/Epic preferred
-
Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
