Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This per diem Occupational Therapy position is based in Hanford, CA, supporting a high school setting for the current school year. The role involves providing OT services aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to six students, ensuring each student receives tailored therapy focused on their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct OT services to six students according to their IEP schedules
  • Provide 30 minutes of monthly OT services to three students
  • Conduct weekly 20-minute OT sessions with two students
  • Offer consultation services six times annually, each lasting 15 minutes, for one student
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate OT strategies into students' educational plans
  • Document services and progress notes accurately and timely as required

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Licensed Occupational Therapist with credentials to practice in California
  • Experience providing OT services within school settings, preferably at the high school level
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and compliance requirements
  • Effective communication skills for interaction with students, families, and educational teams
  • Ability to work independently with established schedules
