Full-Service Laundry Partner Inside Walmart Supercenters

Locations: Oklahoma (Tulsa and Edmonton )

Reports To: SpinJoy Regional Manager or Corporate Leadership

Employment Type: Full-Time (Salaried or Hourly with Supervisory Differential)

Pay Rate: $18.00 $24.00 per hour (or equivalent salaried range, depending on experience, performance, and location; Oklahoma minimum wage applies)

Effective Date: March 2026 (Launch Period)

We make "Laundry Made Easy" by letting customers drop off their laundry, shop in Walmart, and pick up fresh, folded clothes in about 90 minutes. Job Summary

The SpinJoy Location Supervisor / Manager is the on-site leader responsible for the overall success of the SpinJoy location inside Walmart. You will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, manage and develop a team of Laundry Pros, maintain a spotless and safe environment, and drive key performance metrics (activations, loyalty sign-ups, customer satisfaction, and revenue). You must be fully capable of performing all Laundry Pro duties while demonstrating strong leadership, problem-solving, and a passion for learning how to inspire and guide a team. This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow into a leadership position in a dynamic, expanding brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full Laundry Pro Duties (Hands-On Leadership)
    • Perform all tasks of a Laundry Pro as needed: greet customers, process drop-offs, operate washers/dryers, fold laundry, handle stain treatments, use QR/app system, maintain cleanliness, and ensure quality
    • Step in during peak times, absences, or high-volume periods to maintain service standards and coverage
  • Team Leadership & Development
    • Lead, motivate, and coach a team of Laundry Pros (36 per shift) to deliver consistent, friendly, professional service
    • Schedule shifts, manage coverage (target 3 employees per hour), approve time records, and handle call-offs
    • Conduct daily huddles, recognize wins, and foster a family-like culture
    • Train new hires on operations, safety, customer service, app usage, and SpinJoy Certified Laundry Pro program
    • Track and reward performance: monitor spiff bonus logs, monthly activation contest participation, and team goals
  • Customer Experience & Operations Management
    • Oversee the end-to-end customer journey: from walk-by greetings to fast, accurate pickups
    • Resolve escalated complaints with empathy, offer solutions (discounts, rewashes, refunds), and follow up
    • Ensure compliance with all policies: hygiene (no mixing loads), safety (PPE, hazard reporting), eco-practices, and Oklahoma medical marijuana guidelines (respect licenses but no impairment on duty)
    • Manage inventory (detergents, bags, supplies), equipment maintenance, and daily cleaning checklists
    • Monitor app/QR system for order accuracy, delays, and notifications
  • Business & Performance Leadership
    • Drive key metrics: new customer activations, Fresh Fold Rewards sign-ups, repeat visits, and revenue
    • Execute in-store promotions, Walmart+ bundles, and engagement strategies from the Q&A database
    • Maintain spotless, inviting space aligned with SpinJoy branding and Porter design guidelines
    • Report daily/weekly performance, issues, and opportunities to regional/corporate leadership
  • Safety, Compliance & Growth
    • Enforce all safety protocols (emergency procedures, PPE, hazard reporting)
    • Ensure full compliance with Oklahoma and federal laws (wage, breaks, workers comp, I-9, background checks)
    • Demonstrate a strong desire to learn leadership skillsparticipate in ongoing training, coaching, and development
    • Model SpinJoy values: efficiency, cleanliness, customer focus, human connection, and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 12 years of supervisory or lead experience (retail, hospitality, laundry, or service industry preferred)
  • Proven ability to perform hands-on laundry/operational tasks (or willingness to learn quickly)
  • Strong customer service skills and positive, energetic attitude
  • Ability to stand/walk/lift up to 50 lbs for entire shift
  • Comfortable with technology (smartphone/tablet for app/QR, basic scheduling tools)
  • Flexible availability (including weekends, evenings, and Walmart store hours)
  • Desire and demonstrated potential to grow into a strong leader (e.g., coaching others, solving problems, motivating teams)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous management or supervisory role in retail, laundry, or fast-paced service environment
  • Experience with performance incentives, contests, or team motivation programs
  • Knowledge of laundry operations, equipment, or eco-friendly practices
  • Familiarity with Oklahoma employment laws (e.g., medical marijuana, wage, breaks)

Schedule Expectations

  • Full-time: ~3740+ hours/week (with supervisory differential)

  • Oklahoma law: No mandatory breaks for employees 16+ (but scheduled for well-being)
