Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Inspire meaningful growth and make a daily difference as a Special Education Teacher in a dynamic school setting near Aurora, CO. This full-time contract position is available for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year, with new classrooms being launched to support students with a variety of needs. Work Monday through Friday, crafting impactful experiences for students across one campus, and help shape an inclusive educational environment.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Active Colorado Department of Education Certification with appropriate endorsements. Acceptable certifications include:
- Early Childhood Special Education (for Grades P3-2).
- Special Education Generalist (Affective Needs, Autism, Cross Categorical, Functional Academics, Severe Needs/Life Skills).
- Additional endorsements as outlined for specific needs categories.
- Prior experience supporting Autism populations in a school district setting is required.
- Successful completion of district fingerprinting and background check required.
- Prepared to adapt to varying campus assignments as district needs and placements are finalized.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, individualized instruction to students as designated by evolving campus needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and family members to ensure optimal learning environments.
- Utilize evidence-based practices to support a range of student abilities and needs.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to all compliance requirements.
- Foster a supportive, inclusive classroom culture where all students feel valued and equipped to succeed.
