About the Role
We are seeking a friendly, organized Receptionist to provide exceptional front desk support for our Assisted Living community. This role ensures smooth communication, timely response to resident requests, and high-quality service while assisting nursing and care staff.
Key Responsibilities

Answer phones promptly and direct calls or take messages accurately

Greet residents, staff, and visitors warmly and efficiently

Respond to call lights and resident requests, notifying caregivers and following up as needed

Assist residents with appointments, activities, and transportation according to care plans

Maintain organized and neat Wellness Center desk, office, and resident charts

Process guest and resident meal requests and employee call-in slips

Support office functions, including mailings, document updates, and staff scheduling

Provide back-up caregiving support in emergencies

Follow Employee Handbook, policies, and safety requirements

Report any abuse, neglect, or unsafe conditions per protocol

Perform other duties as directed by supervisor
Qualifications
-
GED or High School Diploma required; College degree preferred

2+ years of experience in a receptionist or related role

CNA preferred
-
Certificates: Fundamentals of Caregiving, Dementia & Mental Health Training (within 90 days), CPR + First Aid (within 30 days)

Proficient in operating office equipment and computers

Strong multitasking, communication, and organizational skills
Physical Requirements

Lift/carry up to 50 lbs; push 250 lbs in wheelchair or cart

Sit, stand, walk, squat, bend, and perform repetitive arm/hand movements
