Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for an ECSE Teacher specializing in Special Education to support young learners from birth to 2 years in an elementary school setting. This contract position offers a full-time schedule with 37.5 hours per week over 5 days, providing an impactful role in early childhood special education.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized educational services to infants and toddlers aged 0-2 with individualized education plans.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 12 students, tailoring instructional strategies to meet diverse developmental needs.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to create and implement effective individualized learning plans.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with applicable guidelines.
- Participate in regular team meetings and professional development activities to enhance instructional skills and service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Valid ECSE (Early Childhood Special Education) teaching certification or credential required.
- Experience working with infants and toddlers in an early intervention or special education setting is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with families and team members from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle caseload responsibilities efficiently.
