• Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (8-hour day shifts)\n

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,860 – $2,000\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state\n
• At least 1 year of recent experience in Cardiac Stepdown, Progressive Care Unit (PCU), or acute care nursing\n
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required\n
• Proficient in cardiac monitoring, telemetry, and clinical assessment skills\n
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities\n

\n\nCardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities\n

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from cardiovascular surgery in a cardiac stepdown setting\n
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition\n
• Administer medications, cardiac treatments, and interventions as prescribed\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans\n
• Educate patients and families on post-operative cardiac care and recovery\n
• Document patient care and progress accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)\n
