Swing Shift Cold Storage Warehouse Associate
Job Description
Join a dynamic team as a Warehouse Associate, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient operations in a temperature-controlled environment. Your experience in food and beverage distribution will be vital as you handle various tasks using advanced equipment and technology.
Responsibilities
- Operate electronic pallet jacks (EPJ), both single and double pallet, in a fulfillment warehouse.
- Pick orders using onboard POS computers, paper pick sheets, RF scan guns, and barcode sticker printers.
- Receive and unload inbound freight, verify and inspect products, and forward information to the receiving clerk.
- Conduct pallet breakdowns, restacking, restocking, palletizing, and staging, and load outbound trailers.
- Assist in inventory management, cycle counts, and date coding.
Essential Skills
- Experience in cold storage distribution with a tenure of 3-4+ years.
- Proficient in forklift operation, RF scanners, order picking, and electric pallet jacks.
- Ability to read, write, communicate, and comprehend English to perform job tasks effectively.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with riding electric pallet jacks is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate various types of forklifts and handheld scanners with training.
- Good judgment necessary for safe forklift operations and handling of customer products.
- Ability to meet physical requirements such as lifting up to 100 pounds and working in cold environments.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clackamas, OR.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
