A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to support an elementary school caseload in Plainview, MN. This full-semester contract position offers a part-time schedule with the potential for summer hours and the possibility of contract renewal for the 2025-2026 school year. The role requires on-site presence and offers a balanced Monday through Friday workweek at .35 FTE, without full-day hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language assessments and interventions tailored to elementary-aged students
- Collaborate with educators and healthcare professionals to develop individualized communication goals
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with applicable regulatory guidelines
- Deliver teletherapy services as needed, while primarily providing on-site support
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) for Speech-Language Pathologists or appropriate licensure for SLPA
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, preferably within educational or healthcare settings
- Knowledge of teletherapy platforms and best practices in remote speech-language intervention
- Ability to effectively communicate with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Commitment to student-centered care and professional development
