<ul>Job Details
<li>Preference given to a scientist with a strong Microbiology background</li>
<li>Under minimal supervision, applies advanced technical skills and seasoned judgment to independently and competently provide a full range of sample test analyses and laboratory services in a hospital-based laboratory.</li>
<li>Shift work and night and weekend call are required to provide 24 hour laboratory coverage.</li>
<li>Perform all levels of testing including CLIA defined high complexity testing.</li>
</ul>
<ul>Job Requirements
<li>A bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field.</li>
<li>One (1) year of progressive clinical experience or one (1) year of hospital internship subsequent to degree.</li>
</ul>
<ul>Schedule Information
<li>Shift work and night and weekend call are required to provide 24 hour laboratory coverage.</li>
</ul>
<ul>Unit Specific Information
<li>Works with infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients.</li>
