We are seeking a Toddler Lead Teacher to join our organization! This individual will plan and present age appropriate activities for children.
Responsibilities:
Lead and nurture the daily care and early learning environment for infants (typically ages 6 weeks-12 months)
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that support sensory, motor, social, and emotional milestones
Build trusting, supportive relationships with families through daily communication and partnership
Mentor and partner with assistant teachers to model best practices in infant care and classroom management
Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging classroom that meets all Pennsylvania childcare licensing requirements
Observe and document children's progress, sharing insights to support individual learning
Support enrollment engagement through classroom tours and family outreach
What We're Looking For
Passion for early childhood education and a nurturing approach with infants
Able to pass all required PA background checks: FBI fingerprinting, child abuse, and criminal history. Communicate respectfully and effectively with co-teachers and families at pickup
2+ years of experience in a licensed childcare setting, with toddler room experience strongly preferred
Strong understanding of infant development, safety, and state licensing standards
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
