JOB SUMMARY:
The Warehouse and Transportation Associate is responsible for organizing the warehouse, procuring tools and equipment as requested, transferring tools, equipment, supplies, and materials between job sites. This position also provides assistance to Project Superintendents, temporary assignment as “stand in” superintendent, and other tasks and duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assist Project Superintendent in all task assigned including but not limited to; general and specific cleanup, snow removal, equipment operator, security fence installation, specialized IT requests, job trailer placement & demobilization, equipment repairs/trouble shooting.
- Assist in maintaining construction time schedules by filling in for Project Superintendents in their absence.
- Continuous general clean-up and organization of sites, warehouse, trucks, and equipment.
- Monitor construction material inventory, deliver equipment to construction sites, and lock up tools and equipment at the end of shift. Organize, track, and maintain warehouse materials, supplies and tools.
- Ensure equipment is mechanically functioning and maintains appearance meeting Sand Quality Standards.
- Organize, track, and maintain Superintendent/project equipment, supplies and tools.
- Provide interior and exterior upkeep of the Waite Park offices including but not limited to; snow removal, prevention of ice buildup, lighting bulbs/ ballast replacements, parking and property cleanup, out lot cleanup.
- Coordinates work for daily and weekly schedule, communicates progress.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- General construction knowledge, including plumbing, carpentry, and electrical.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to operate and provide minor repairs to machinery and tools.
- Forklift and bobcat operation experience.
- Coordination skills.
- Ability to work well with others.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or GED
General construction knowledge
Prefer 1st Aid, CPR, AED certified
Prefer CDL license or ability to obtain

COMPENSATION: $30-$36 hourly
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Valid Class D Driver’s License
Pass a Drug Test and Background Check
Pass a Physical Test
Be available to work extended hours when needed
