We are seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Safety Manager specialized in construction to lead safety initiatives across our construction sites. You will champion a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations while fostering a proactive safety environment. Your expertise will support the successful execution of construction projects through meticulous safety oversight.
Duties
- Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive safety programs tailored to construction sites, ensuring adherence to OSHA standards and other applicable regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections, hazard assessments, and safety audits to identify risks and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Lead safety training sessions in both English and Spanish to ensure clear understanding of safety protocols.
- Manage incident investigations, compile detailed reports, and recommend measures to prevent future occurrences.
- Monitor compliance with OSHA, workers' compensation policies, and other regulatory requirements using construction management software tools.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness through ongoing communication and regular safety meetings.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction site safety management with a strong understanding of OSHA regulations, risk management practices, and occupational health principles.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- Familiarity with workers' compensation procedures and compliance management systems
- Hands-on experience with construction management software for tracking safety metrics and documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high safety standards.
