Position Overview

The Occupational Therapist (OT) delivers direct rehabilitation services in occupational therapy to patients referred by physicians, adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and organizational standards.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program (BSOT or MSOT)
  • New graduates are welcome to apply
  • Engagement in community health initiatives/projects as appropriate
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communication
  • Ability to liaise effectively with patients, families, and support departments
  • Knowledgeable about practices, procedures, and regulations governing post-acute care facilities
  • Ability to implement and interpret departmental programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures
  • Competency in all relevant areas, including patient rights, safety, and sanitation
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of all proprietary and confidential information
  • Understanding and adherence to company policies, including those related to harassment and compliance
  • Exhibit integrity and professionalism by following the organization's Code of Conduct and completing required compliance training
  • Supervise and evaluate care provided by Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs), Rehabilitation Aides, and students
  • Utilize therapy software accurately and effectively
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude towards patients
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
