Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts with every third weekend required
\n• 2 years of experience required with cardiac and neuro ICU experience mandatory
\n• Travel experience required, no exceptions
\n• Cerner charting system experience required, no exceptions
\n• Float to all ICU units as needed (Neuro ICU, CCU, PCU, CVICU, CICU)
\n• Patient ratio of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends
\n• Must pass EKG exam on orientation day with 80% or higher score
\n• 36 hours of orientation required
\n• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), NIHSS, TNCC, CPI (starting January 2026)
\n• Must complete 8 stroke, 8 trauma, and 8 cardiac CEUs
\n• Missouri RN license or compact license required
\n• Pre-start HealthStream modules required (4 hours for ICU)
\n• No block scheduling allowed
\n• Time off requests after submission will not be approved
\n• Care for patients with neurological, trauma, medical, and surgical diagnoses
\n• Work with specialized equipment including ventilators, arterial lines, central lines, and neuro monitoring devices
\n• Provide care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations

This 451-bed healthcare facility provides comprehensive medical services with specialized intensive care units including neuro ICU, CCU, PCU, CVICU, and CICU. The facility offers extensive interdisciplinary support services including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and interpretation services. The organization maintains high standards for patient care and utilizes advanced medical technology and equipment across all units.
