An immediate opening is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in pediatric and elementary school settings. This full-time contract position, running from ASAP through 6/13, offers the possibility of renewal and involves managing an elementary caseload of approximately 40 students. The role requires 35 to 37.5 hours per week, providing comprehensive speech-language support within an educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services to elementary school students.
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to enhance student communication skills.
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with school guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of intervention strategies.
Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology license.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Experience working in schools, preferably with an elementary-aged caseload.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills suited to a school setting.
- Ability to manage a caseload of 40 students effectively.
