Requirements
- Required experience in DaVinci robotic, Ortho including Total Joints & general surgery
- 3+ years of surgical tech experience
Summary:
- Serve as a primary scrub technician for a wide range of surgical procedures, including DaVinci robotic surgeries, orthopedic procedures (Total Joints), and general surgery
- Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments, robotic equipment, supplies, and sterile fields in compliance with NBSTSA standards
- Scrub and assist surgeons during procedures, anticipating needs and maintaining strict sterile technique
- Operate and assist with DaVinci robotic systems, including setup, troubleshooting, docking, and instrument exchange
- Assist in orthopedic cases, including total joint replacements, by preparing implants, instruments, and maintaining procedural accuracy
- Perform counts of sponges, needles, and instruments before, during, and after procedures to ensure patient safety
- Assist with patient positioning, skin preparation, and application of surgical draping
- Maintain proper handling, labeling, and transport of surgical specimens
