The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) is seeking a Marketing Manager to join the Membership and Marketing Team. Key responsibilities will focus on the aspects of web, mobile, digital, and print marketing content. The Marketing Manager works on NAEYC's marketing team to develop creative marketing strategies for NAEYC and oversee communications and engagement efforts for all NAEYC initiatives.
NAEYC is seeking a Director of Marketing to lead and execute our comprehensive marketing strategy. In this high-impact leadership role, you'll elevate our brand, drive membership growth and retention, promote key programs and services, and strengthen our organizational visibility. The ideal candidate combines strategic vision with hands-on execution, bringing strong leadership, creative storytelling, and data-driven decision-making to a growing marketing team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies aligned with NAEYC's mission and growth objectives. Lead organization-wide marketing initiatives to grow membership and amplify impact.
- Oversee the Creative Services team. Personally create and manage compelling content and marketing collateral that communicates NAEYC's value to diverse stakeholders.
- Manage, develop, and mentor marketing team members. Collaborate cross-functionally to drive shared marketing goals.
- Establish KPIs, analyze campaign performance and market trends, and report insights to inform decisions and improve marketing ROI.
- Uphold brand consistency across all channels. Maintain brand standards and messaging guidelines.
- Identify strategic marketing partnerships, manage vendors, and stay current on industry trends and tools to drive innovation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 5-7 years of progressive marketing experience, including 2-3 years in a supervisory role. Experience in nonprofit, association, or education sectors strongly preferred.
- Strategic planning and tactical execution of marketing campaigns
- Strong content creation and copywriting abilities
- Digital marketing expertise (email, social media, content, analytics)
- Leadership and team development
- Familiarity with CRM, CMS, email platforms, and analytics tools
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration
Position Designation/Business Support:
This role is eligible for teleworking requiring at least one day in the office each week. Some travel is required. Telework and remote work eligibility is subject to NAEYC's Telework and Remote Work Policy.
